The young cat who adopted sprog's landlady had three kittens yesterday afternoon. She found a box in a corner and got on with the business of production. Mum and triplets are doing well.
The little balls of life are described as adorable; one is black and white striped, two are black splodged and white. Mum, is a very attractive, petite white cat with bits of black strategically placed to maximum pretty effect.

I haven't seen any pix of the kitties but I did see mum at Easter time. She is very pretty and petite. Mum was not much more than a older kitten herself really.

I was very confused, at first, because I thought that mum was your mother, how silly of me to think that. I nearly had kittens myself there, trying to work out the approximate age of your mother, from your profile age, which may or may not be correct ( I change mine from time to time, just to keep everybody on their toes) then thinking how could she raise triplets on a pension.
Imagine the looks at the Post Office, when she draws her pension and Child Benefit at the same time???? But Mum is a cat? Is Mum the name of the cat? Or did you just call her ( I'm taking it that the cat is a SHE? You just never know sometimes?) mum, when you discovered that she was with kittens? I'm just curious, which since I am NOT a cat, is alright. Cheers.......

I can't remember the young cat's name (something French)hence 'mum'. Yes she is definitely a 'she' or else someone will make an absolute fortune which I will miss out on.
At the time I saw her with her developing bulge she was distinctly nervous, wanting in and out and drinks. The nearest thing to a feline-mum-to-be craving perhaps?
Adopted home parent, was relieved to hear that she was not likely to be required as a feline midwife. The process of delivery went more-or-less as I advised I hear.
So no, don't worry yourself - I won't be starting a post-natal collection just yet. You can put that triple seated pushcair back on sale with Ebay or Mothercare.
